Return Policy

We will refund or exchange most goods if you return them within 7 days of purchase. You will need to provide us with your original "Proof-of-Purchase" (Till Slip or Invoice)

Goods returned after this 7 day period will NOT be Refunded

Please note that it may not be possible to determine in-store whether goods have been damaged or what the cause of a failure or defect may be. This is of importance as it determines whether the goods may be repaired, replaced or refunded. Accordingly, we reserve the right to refer returned goods for technical assessment by the manufacturer or authorized service center prior to repairing, replacing or refunding and to provide you with feedback within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods and to act accordingly.


Returns are subject to the following conditions:


   1. The products must still be in their original condition and packaging and you may not have used them at all, used items will NOT be Refunded

   2. The return is done so at the expense of the customer, who will cover all courier fees involved. This will be deducted from the product purchase price if a refund is required.

   3. For an exchange, the client is liable for the courier fee for both the return and resending of the new replacement item.

   4. NO Cash Refunds, Refunds will be done via EFT, with a processing time of up to 14 Business Days

   5. NO Refunds will be Offered on Inverter Repairs


Inverter Warranty

All Inverters Installed by Us will have their Full 12 Month Limited Warranty period unless else Specified on the Quote or Invoice

All Inverters Not Installed by us will have their Full 12 Month Limited Warranty period provided it has been installed by a Qualified person and the installation has a Valid COC certificate

for the Inverter system and the system needs to be installed correctly as per Manual (Manual can be downloaded or requested)

The Inverter Should be fitted with a Battery fuse as Protection (5KVA - 80A to 160Amp, 3KVA - 80A to 125Amp), also should the Inverter Output (230VAC) be protected with a Working Earth Leakage of at least 30mA (Photo to be Provided of this Protection that needs to be dated to Installation Date)

No Warranty will be Issued if the Inverter was Opened or if any Physical Damage can be seen on the outer Covers of the Inverter

No Warranty will be given on Inverters if used without Batteries or if the inverter is used with Faulty Batteries or with the Wrong Battery Voltages

No Warrantee will be given on inverters that was connected Reverse Polarity either on the Battery side of the Inverter or the Solar charger on the Inverter

No Warranty will be given if the Client uses a Smaller inverter as per our recommendation

No Warranty will be given on Overloaded Inverters (3rd Party Will do Assessment on Inverter on Clients Cost)

No Warranty will be given on Inverters Damaged by Utility Power surges (Utility can be Eskom or Generators)

Elexco (Pty) Ltd will not be held Liable for any Secondary Damaged caused to any Equipment or appliances as a Direct or Indirect result of a Faulty or Defective Inverter

No Warranty will be processed if your account has not been settled in Full


Inverter Repair Warrantee & Conditions

All Repaired Inverters will carry a 30 Day Limited Warrantee, unless otherwise stated on the Invoice or quote

No Warranty will be issued on a Repaired Inverter if the inverter is returned without a valid COC Certificate of the Electrical Installation of the Inverter System, valid at time of Inverter Installed Date

No Warranty will be Issued if the Inverter was Opened or if any Physical Damage can be seen on the outer Covers of the Inverter or any Stickers have been Removed or Broken on the Inverter

No Warranty will be given on Inverters if used without Batteries or if the inverter is used with Faulty Batteries or with the Wrong Battery Voltages

No Warrantee will be given on inverters that was connected Reverse Polarity either on the Battery side of the Inverter or the Solar charger on the Inverter

No Warranty will be given on Overloaded Inverters (3rd Party Will do Assessment on Inverter on Clients Cost)

No Warranty will be given on Inverters Damaged by Utility Power surges (Utility can be Eskom or Generators)

Repairs on Inverters can take between 2-3Weeks as we send our Inverters out to the Repair Centre for Repairs

Any Delays experienced from the Repair Centre will be communicated to the Client as this can Cause additional Delays in the Repair Process

The Repair costs needs to be Paid in Full and Reflect in our Bank before we will give the Go Ahead on a Repair, this is a NON REFUNDABLE payment

Once the Payment has been Made for the Repair we Accept that the client Accepted the Terms and Conditions for the Repair and also that the Repair costs are All NON REFUNDABLE

If a Inverter needs to be Repaired under Warrantee the Same terms will apply as "Inverter Warranty"
